Several people injured during attack at Ohio State: Suspect dead

Ohio State Univ. says a shelter-in-place warning has been lifted and the scene is secure following reports of an active shooter and at least seven people injured. Ohio State tweeted that all classes would be canceled for the rest of the day.

A suspect has been shot and reported deceased. Victim injuries include stab wounds, injury by motor vehicle and other injuries that are being evaluated.


Ohio State police say the attacker on campus purposely drove over a curb and into pedestrians and then got out of the vehicle and began stabbing people with a butcher knife.

A suspect is dead after an active shooter report at the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio, this morning, according to the Columbus Department of Public Safety.
