So we can't seem to escape the Pride of the left over their Revolution. We see it everywhere.. and mostly in the way they have used the movement to centralize
the Federal Government's authority over our hearts and minds. Yes, the left is very -very proud of this.
the Federal Government's authority over our hearts and minds. Yes, the left is very -very proud of this.
I was reading the article: http://cnsnews.com/news/ article/eric-scheiner/ag- lynch-lgbt-pride-led-white- house-draped-rainbow-flag
and it really left me wondering, WHAT IN THE FRESH HECK ARE THEY SO PROUD OF?
I know what I am proud of in America, as an American. I am proud of liberty and that as a woman, I am (or was) one of the most free people in the history of the world. I have more freedom, liberty and potential prosperity than historically any women have known, and I am thankful and proud. I first became aware of my pride in America as a small child. Kindergarten, in fact. And I first felt that swell of pride in my soul- at the reading of a Children's book. Sam the Minute Man. I remember being so proud of his courage and determination.. and I remembering thinking that to HIM, I owe this comfortable feeling called "Freedom".
Sam the Minute Man was a cornerstone to my own Conservative beliefs, since I started being a Conservative as a small child.
So- reading Loretta's story, I had to ask what she is so proud of and WHY does she seem to be drawing a parallel from her movement to my story of the American Revolution?
She says stuff like this, check it out:
“So here and now, in this place, let us celebrate these achievements and express our own pride,” Lynch said.
“Pride in this country for drawing closer to the promise of equality and opportunity that was made at its founding more than two centuries ago. Pride in this Department of Justice for being a part of an extraordinary movement that has made its way from a bar in Greenwich Village to the steps of the Supreme Court to a White House draped in the rainbow flag.”
And how about that Beer lovers? Can you imagine the discussions of our Revolution going down in the Green Dragon Tavern- talking about men's rights to wear frilly panties- and dance in the street in a thong? We would have gotten so far.
I was compelled to ponder- what if Sam the Minute Man had been transgendered?
Can you imagine Sam, wearing a rainbow super cloak, keeping guard over the Government controlled, Target Corporation. Ready to defend Sodomy in 60 seconds, rushing to the defense of all boys and girls who demanded the right to choose their biological gender?
So never mind Free Markets, Decentralized Authority over our lives, and Self Determination. Somewhere a man is going into a girl's locker room. Somewhere a man is buying pink panties and is not mocked Somewhere two men are groping each other in a taxpayer funded children's book.
And Finally all men are free to shop for heels and fake fur stoles in public.
That is the progress the last 8 years of the Obama administration has given us. The Hope and Change and the Transformation.
The day that men could be little girls. When progressives would return us to rule by decree of Queens and Kings. When even Beer couldn't be free to be manly.
