Army, Navy prepare for annual showdown

The historic rivalry between the Army Black Knights and the Navy Midshipmen returns to Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday.

The 117th meeting between Army and Navy has the teams meeting in Baltimore for just the seventh time in the rivalries’ history.

At 6-5, Army enters with a winning record for the first time since 2010 and looks to end Navy’s 14-year run of victories. The No. 25 Midshipmen are headed for the Armed Forces Bowl after a 9-3 season after losing to Temple in the American Athletic Conference title game last week.

Navy and Army both enter the game with winning records for the first time since 2010. Navy won that game, 31-17.

Navy leads the all-time series against Army, 60-49-7, and has won a series-record 14-consecutive games. The Mids are 3-2 against Army in games played in Baltimore and own a 3-0 mark against the Black Knights in games played at M&T Bank Stadium.
