BANNED: White House bars several media outlets from West Wing press gaggle

EDITOR'S NOTE: Banning these media outlets was a very bad and petty move by the Trump administration. This was a very unusual breach of relations and trust between the Trump administration and White House press corps.

On Friday, reporters from several media outlets that are members of the White House press corps, including the New York Times, CNN, Politico, Los Angeles Times, Politico and BuzzFeed were not allowed to attend a press gaggle in the West Wing office of the press secretary Sean Spicer.

The White House allowed only reporters from a handpicked group of media outlets to attend the press gaggle. Time magazine and the Associated Press who invited to met with Spicer, but did not attend in protest of the White House’s banning of the other news organizations.
